Maureen from Idaho

One of our rally captains, Maureen, has held rosary rallies monthly in her city of Nampa, Idaho. Here is her report:

“Starting in August, 2009, Nampa has prayed a Monthly Rosary Rally every month. We have continued this for over eight and a-half years to date.  The most difficult times of prayer have been in the winter weather of wind and cold temperatures.  The most we have had in our group was 17 and the least was 2.  We only had 2 at our rally in December of 2017, when it was exactly 0 degrees.  Our signs have held up pretty well during most of the weather conditions, but we have had to tape a few of them after strong winds.  Several times we have noticed that of all the weather conditions that month, our First Saturday was the most tolerable.   I delight that she is protecting us under her mantle.

Over the years we have had only a few oppose our rally.  We live in a very conservative state.  We pray on the Nampa City Hall steps.  And, counting the cars passing by during our rally, we counted nearly 250.  Once a man tried to physically take down our signs claiming that we had no right to have them up.  He claimed that there was a separation of church and state.  The police came and we won that battle.  After that, we obtained a letter in writing from the Nampa City Council that we had the right to be there.  Since then, one lady came up to us and told us that praying there was fine, but she was against the signs we had displayed.  She also wanted to see permission and claimed she was going to take it to the mayor's office.  She took pictures with her phone of our letter of permission.  That was in September of 2017, we haven't seen her since.  We think she was bothered by the picture of Our Lady.

Fortunately, God has blessed us with steadfast prayer warriors here in our parish.  We have sent the information of our rallies to all the parishes in our area, but few come from those beyond Nampa.  I send a notice each month on email to over 150 addresses.  Sometimes I get back an encouraging reply in thanksgiving for our prayer endeavor from someone who has not attended.  It is uplifting to know people read the email.  We know we are protected and blessed by Our Holy Mother in our witnessing to the devotion of prayer against the sin of this world.”

How many Rosary Rallies have you participated in?

Luke from Florida

One of our rally captains, Luke from Florida, has been a rally captain every year since the beginning in 2007! Luke is a third order Franciscan, and he has volunteered to recruit other rally captains, making calls from our Rosary Rally office in Kansas.
This year on the day of the 100 anniversary rosary rallies, Luke was scheduled to be on a cruise ship. What did Luke do? He held his rally on the cruise ship with the banner. The ship put his rally on the schedule and provided a place for him to hold the rally. A priest and several others participated.

So, you see, a Public Square Rosary Rally can be held almost anywhere!

Where do you hold your Rosary Rallies?

Rally of Reparation in California

On Saturday, December 30, 2017, some 70 plus members of America Needs Fatima, including Rosary Rally Captains, held a Rally of Reparation at Cesar Chavez Park in San Jose, California. The purpose of this rally was to protest a satanic display that was placed near a crèche at the park.
Those who participated in the rally were vigorous in their indignation against the blasphemous display.

Our dedicated participants were met by a feeble counter-protest of some dozen satanists. The Satanists were disconcerted when they saw the number and enthusiasm of those devoted to defending the honor of the Holy Family.
In a clever attempt to divide and conquer, a couple of satanists tried to offer flowers to the protesters. Almost all of the participants categorically rejected them. There is no dialogue, no compromise with Satan and his followers!

During this rally, a Public Square Rosary Rally program was followed, which included prayers to St. Michael and hymns to Our Lady. The rally concluded with, “O Come All Ye Faithful.”
As we see in so many cases, evil advances when the good do nothing. When the good stand up to evil, with Our Lady’s help, the evil ones become overwhelmed and confused.

From our PSRC Director...

Dear Public Square Rosary Rally Captains,

I want to formally welcome you to our first Rosary Rally blog for all Rally Captains. The purpose of this blog is to stay in touch with our Rally Captains. So much prayer and reparation have been offered by the rallies formed by you. Without you organizing the rallies, they wouldn’t take place.

We hope that this blog informs as well as provides an opportunity for you to send us feedback. We want to hear from you! We want to hear about your rallies. We want to hear from you about what worked and what didn’t work. For those who have held rallies multiple years, we want to hear about what inspires you to keep going, so that others can be moved to similar dedication.

We want to learn from you why the rallies are so important. We would like for you to send photos of your rallies. You might have already done so; however, with over 21,000 rallies held last October, it is difficult to sort through all of the thousands of photos. Please email them to psrcnewsletter@gmail.com, so we can use your rally to inspire other Rally Captains.

If you made your own signs or banners, please send images of those as well. They can also be an inspiration to others. Some of the signs used at my rally were made based on what others have done. Finally, I consider this blog to be a call to action!

There is so much we can do for Our Lady and to help bring about Her triumph. This blog will have a recommended action item, something extra that we can do every month for Our Lady. Sometimes the action will be simple, sometimes it will require more sacrifice on your part. The fate of America, in many ways, rests with you.

The answer to our massive problems is grace. Grace is obtained by the faithful offering prayers and sacrifices, asking Our Lord through Our Lady to grant graces. The greater the sacrifice offered by the faithful, the greater the graces that will eventually lead to the conversion of America!

We also want to hear from you about local issues in your state or community. A number of our Rallies of Reparation and protests against blasphemy have come about because members of America Needs Fatima informed us. If you learn about something that is blasphemous or morally offensive, please contact us. We may be able to organize an email protest or even help you organize a Rally of Reparation.

If you would like to receive these blog posts via email, fill in the "Follow by Email" box on the right. It is my hope that this blog will help bring you ever closer to Our Lady and that it will inspire you to fight more valiantly for Our Lady and Her cause.

I want you to know that you are always welcome to call me at (866) 584-6012 or email me at psrcnewsletter@gmail.com to learn how to use your rally against evil or to promote good in your community. —Francis
